I really like @fastmail but one thing I do not like is I can't customize the buttons in the tool bar. I never use Archive or Snooze, but 99% of the time I want actions behind the "More" button (like mark unread). Why can't I configure the button bar to be what I use, not what you (incorrectly) think I would use.
@grumpygamer @fastmail I think this about almost all toolbars!
@grumpygamer
can you configure a hotkey to mark emails as read?
@grumpygamer @fastmail same with mail on iOS!
@grumpygamer Unread is my way or organization mail - anything else is too much to handle for me over long periods of time. It's the same behavior in k9mail/Thunderbird on Android. You can even configure which buttons will be visible by default but not unread!
@grumpygamer @fastmail There's a keyboard shortcut for doing it in list view (shift-u, I think), and in message/reading view you can click the little unfilled circle to turn it blue and mark as unread.
