I already asked this on r/dosgamng, but eager for more responses: what are your favourite *modern* DOS games? Not DOS-inspired or DOS-style, but rather actual new games made for DOS systems in the past decade or so.

@MossRC

Two that come to mind are Slipspeed by @voxel and @Tijn
voxel.itch.io/slipspeed

The Aching by @thelobdegg
hadrosoft.itch.io/the-aching

It's not a specific game but I also loved the recent games in the dos jam organized by @emmfoolery
itch.io/jam/dosember-game-jam/

@MossRC also a big fan of all the games that @cyningstan has made

cyningstan.itch.io/

@MichaelKlamerus @MossRC @cyningstan beat me to it, cyningstan's dos games are the ones I come back to play *for fun* not just *for the novelty of a new dos game*

@MossRC Retro City Rampage 486 is a pretty fun port of the original. It comes with the original game for free and plays just like the original, with most of the features present and PC Speaker audio

@voxel @MichaelKlamerus @cyningstan Thanks guys. I'm adding these to my list and will give them all a go.

@MossRC I'm still pretty proud of Neut Tower! spindleyq.itch.io/neut-tower
